My intention this year, 2014, regarding my blog is to blog more frequently throughout the year. My plan is to dedicate my entries toward the classes that I am teaching this session from Jan-Jun. January has come and gone and we are now in the month of February, so there is no time like the present to get moving on this intention.
In addition to blogging more frequently on my blog my intention for this year is to focus on one specific Kundalini Yoga Set and Meditation each month. In the month of January going into this new year, I dedicated the month's class sessions on the intention of letting go of the past and past experiences with the 'Meditation to Bring Up the Past' on pg. 122 in the book, 'Relax and Renew' by Gururattan Kaur Khalsa, Ph. D. This is an amazing meditation that guides the practitioner experientially through the experiences of the past and shows the practitioner that one has the power and the tools, with practice, to emotionally detach current day experiences from thought processes related to events in the past. I personally know the benefits of doing this amazing Kundalini Yogic practice, and look forward to others discovering the amazing effects of doing this practice. There are so many layers of yourself to uncover inorder to develope your inner strength, happiness, and well-being. This Month's, February, focus is on the heart center. Come to classes at Divinitree and/or Santa Barbara Yoga Center and uncover the aspects of your heart in all of its many facets. 'You cannot always control what goes on outside. But you can always control what goes on inside.' ~Wayne Dyer
